South Yorkshire Pensions Authority are seeking an Employer Representative to join our Local Pension Board (LPB). This Board is a crucial part of SYPA’s corporate governance structure. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your community while gaining valuable experience in LGPS pensions, governance compliance, scrutiny, and assurance.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly, and forward-thinking Transactions team in this well-respected, award-winning organisation managing an £11 billion pension fund. If you’re looking for a role involving variety and challenge, where you’ll be involved in processing transactions across the various areas of accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable invoicing and credit control, daily banking transactions, and payroll – ranging from our staff payroll for around 130 staff to our monthly pension payroll for over 60,000 pensioners, then this could be the job for you!

We have a 35-hour work week, and you can work flexible hours between 7am – 7pm & work from home up to 3 days a week (following a successful 6-month probationary period).
